A fejlesztés egyik fókusza a mozgáskoordináció javítása. Ilyen szolgáltatást nyújt az Alpozó Terápák Alapítvány (AT). Véletlenszerűen 300 gyermek dokumentációját válogattuk be. A több, mint 25% hiányzó adat miatt 54-et kizártunk, 244-et vontunk be az elemzésbe, 166 fiú, 78 leány. A minta életkora 4év8hó – 16év8hó, M=7év10hó, SD=2év,5hó. Új faktor a négykézláb mászás. Az egyensúlyi képességekkel 39 változó mutatott statisztikailag szignifikáns kapcsolatot. Csak a statikus egyensúllyal 16, csak a dinamikussal 4, mindkettővel 19. A statikus egyensúlyra jellemzően a korai történések vannak hatással, a dinamikus egyensúlyra inkább a poszturális testhelyzet felvételével és a magasabban szervezett mozgásvezérléshez köthető fejlődési sajátságok mutatnak. A regressziós modellek mindegyikében prediktor egyes fejlődési mérföldkövek elérésének ideje.

Developmental disorders, which often occur in combination, present a challenge to academic progress. The tools of the condition assessment are mostly conceptually based, empirically developed, and partially standardized. Focuses like motor coordination and language skills are common in assessments. Our aim was to empirically validate the conceptual structure of the self-developed motor assessment used by the Basic Therapy Foundation (Alapozó Terápia Alapítvány) and the Gósy Speech Perception Test (GMP). Furthermore, we aimed to explore the relationships between balance abilities and other factors, and to identify predictors of balance and specific language skills. We hypothesized that empirical data would confirm the distinct structural separation of the motor status and speech perception subdomains. Method: We analysed the documentation of 300 randomly selected children assessed at the Foundation. Due to missing data exceeding 25%, 56 cases were excluded, resulting in a final sample of 244 children (166 boys, 78 girls; age range: 4y 8m – 16y 8m, M = 7y 10m, SD = 2y 5m). Anamnestic and assessment data were coded. Groups were formed using Principal Component Analysis (PCA), interpreted, and compared with the theoretical groups of speech perception and motor partial skills. Crucially, the analysis of the GMP test results was conducted on an age-filtered, restricted subsample. Two-sample analyses were performed on static and dynamic balance abilities, and the results were compared. Utilizing the identified correlates, stepwise hierarchical regression analyses were conducted to determine the predictors of balance and language skills. The established models were compared, highlighting similarities and differences. Results: According to our findings, the phonetic perception subtests of the GMP form an independent factor, while the phonological and acoustic levels do not statistically differentiate. In the motor status assessment, consistent with the Foundation's categorization, infant movement patterns, flexibility, static and dynamic balance, cross-movements, and spatial orientation tasks formed distinct factors. Walking variations, animal-mimicking movements, and limb balance did not form statistically independent groups. Crawling on all fours emerged as a new factor. A total of 39 variables showed a statistically significant relationship with balance abilities: 16 exclusively with static balance, 4 exclusively with dynamic balance, and 19 with both. Static balance was typically influenced by early developmental events, whereas dynamic balance showed associations with postural adjustment and developmental traits linked to higher-level motor control. Regression models were established for balance abilities, speech and phonetic perception levels, and reading speed. Prominent predictors included developmental milestones: the timing of learning to walk predicted reading speed and balance ability, while the timeline of speech development predicted speech/phonetic perception and balance ability. In our sample, perinatal and infancy events predominantly affected balance abilities. Conclusion: Our results contribute to the validation of the applied diagnostic procedures. This work supports the optimization of assessment protocols and, by identifying predictive elements, facilitates the early detection of risks associated with language and/or motor coordination disorders.
