About the Repository
This repository contains doctoral (PhD) dissertations created and defended at the predecessors of the University of Szeged (these are not listed under the individual doctoral schools), and also at the present day integrated University.
The database was primarily populated with defended SZTE dissertations from the doctoral databases of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the Ministry of Education and Culture OKM).
According to the decision of the Senate of the University of Szeged, after 2nd April 2010 all dissertations must be uploaded to the repository as part of the PhD procedure. At the same time the Klebelsberg Library is retrospectively digitizing and processing dissertations created before that date. Most of the documents – with regard to exceptions mentioned in the relevant government decree – are openly available from the repository.
